Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

We went to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary yesterday for the first time. It is similar to the Australian Reptile Park but with more of a focus on koalas instead of reptiles, and it has sheep dog and raptor shows. We went with our Polish friends who had moved here last November (he is Steve's post-doc) and it was a very nice day. The koalas were all so cute (not many pictures but they have tons there). The kids will be 14 soon and then the entrance for them will be a lot more expensive so it is good we went now!

Bush Turkey baby

We see them all over the place now, so cute! They are always on their own, don't need their parents around.

First day of Year 9 for Daniel!

This was already 4 weeks ago, I am a bit behind with my pictures. Daniel has settled into Year 9 pretty well by now. We are halfway term 1 already!
