Whale watching on North Stradbroke Island

We went to North Stradbroke Island for the day and went to Point Look-out to do some whale watching, it was amazing, we have never seen so many whales before so close by the coast! On our walk along the board walk we also saw kangaroos and dolphins and sea turtles in the ocean. It was a perfect day.

Bribie Island and Venman Bushland National Park

The 'winter' in Brisbane is wonderful - nice sunny days that are warm but not too hot. Perfect weather for going on walks. We try to do a new walk from one of our walking books everytime we go. In the last month we went to Bribie Island (great beach where dogs are allowed) and Venman Bushland National Park (a koala conservation area but unfortunately we did not see one).
