Weekend trip: Town of 1770

We camped out in the Town of 1770, it is beautiful there! On the way there we stopped in Maryborough, birth place of PL Travers (author of Mary Poppins) and on the way back we stopped at some Sunshine Coast beaches. We went kayaking in the Town of 1770 and a really nice bush walk and because it was the twins' birthday we went to a nice cafe and had cake and we got fish and chips later. The first night on the campground we stayed next to our friends from Hervey Bay. It was a great weekend and totally worth the drive (about 6 hrs each way). We had originally planned to go on a day cruise to Lady Musgrave Island but cancelled that because there was a lot of wind (they told us we would get seasick) and they were renovating their pontoon.. so we will leave that for another time!

Birthday party/sleepover with friends

Friends of our kids came for sleepover and we made birthday cakes for the twins -digital ones!
